TwTw presents: INFINITE FALLING GROUND PART II - IVY LAB A/V SHOW

Ivy Lab are back, and they’re bringing more of their unique soundscapes: Exploring downtempo trip-hop, punkish rap beats, and menacing sound design; Ivy Lab present their new album ‘Infinite Falling Ground Pt.2’. The North London based duo of Sabre (Gove Kidao) and Stray (J. Fogel) have concocted 14 tracks concentrated around melancholy, hip-hop inspired ambient electronica, that are not only built to be heard at loud volumes, but also seen.

The sequel to the 2022 project “Infinite Falling Ground” will once again be accompanied by the visual production of Los Angeles-based artist Lake Hills. Conceived as a short film, the narrative continues the relationship between the characters from the first part, this time focusing on the theme of fatherhood.

No matter what kind of music Ivy Lab create, it always turns out to be a stunning collection of sounds. Their interweaving of future beats, leftfield bass music, hip-hop and electronica has been captivating and extremely club-ready from day one.

Giovanni Jano, better known as Jael, is a musician, singer, DJ and producer from The Hague who grew up listening to Indonesian folk, gospel, soul and funk. Whether as a live musician, producer or DJ, his music is always a vibrant combination of genres. This ranges from future beats, hip hop, electronica, soul, amapiano and baile funk to the roots of drum'n'bass, jungle, footwork and bass music. Jael is always good for a surprise.

Coido, formerly known under his neurofunk alias Disprove, has undergone an exciting musical evolution. With his unique minimalist basslines and groovy drum breaks, he has definitely found his own distinctive style that takes him through every beat, bass and break subgenre imaginable.

Filmmaker, director and DJ Deby Cage is our resident when it comes to bass, beats and all that goes with it and will once again bring sounds from, between and beyond the usual genres of bass music.
