Of all the beatboxing personalities, there is still only one who sets the tone, and that is Beardyman. He is a two-time UK beatboxing champion, an MC, a stage-present comedian, a producer and a gifted live improviser.

The Briton Darren Foreman is particularly known for his unique live sets at festivals such as Glastonbury, Sonar, Reading and Roskilde. He explores the boundaries of human beatboxing - mostly improvised - by creating all sounds live and simultaneously chasing them through four Korg Kaoss Pads loop and effect devices to create complete songs. His tools: mouth, nose, throat - sound imitations and voice effects in perfect harmony.

He gained fame especially as a beatboxing super housewife in "Kitchen Diaries" on the internet. He unceremoniously titled his debut album with the self-deprecating "I Done A Album". Gathered on it: An unfathomable spectrum of disparate tracks from weird electronic experiments, Balkan dubstep and world music flair to township funk, drum'n'bass, psychedelic dub and IDM.
