FREEKIND.

The soulful group is composed of Croatian pianist and vocalist Sara Ester Gredelj and Slovenian drummer Nina Korošak-Serčič. Their songs carry a strong message of love and hope, complemented by R&B and Jazz grooves.

The music scene got acquainted with the duo in 2020 with their EP “not good enough”. Their first full-length album “Since Always And Forever,” released under the label Butter92 and distributed by Légère Recordings, features 12 songs, including singles like Visualize, Happiness, Good Vibrations, Bright Light, and Carry You.

The album channels the essence of the golden age of hip-hop but in a fresh and innovative way, incorporating elements of pop, neo-soul, and jazz. The result is a distinctive sound that pays homage to its roots while pushing boundaries and creating its own path. It is a testament to freekind.’s ability to blend genres and create a sound that is both nostalgic and progressive.

 The ongoing joke is that their live performances are a sort of group therapy with the songs sharing something that’s inside all of us, in a way that evokes understanding and empathy. With the groove, it is the perfect combination. Music that moves you and MOVES you, if you know what I mean.
